Watching LeBron play is slightly more exciting than watching paint dry.
He either does the same flying tomahawk after traveling or he goes into fullback mode and charges to the basket for a lay up while throwing in a crab dribble or two.
He has no consistent stroke from range, ugly shooting form, can’t hit a clutch freethrow to save his life and acts like he’s entitled to all this adulation. Pfft.

The same could be said for players like Shaq and Chamberlain and Russell, however they all turned out to be fairly decent players. This isn’t the Harlem Globetrotters, don’t assume effectiveness always has to be aesthetic.

Lebron is still just 24 years old. Kobe has played 13 seasons, ofcourse he is going to have more playoff experience, ofcourse he is going to have more records.
The only fair thing is to compare them this season. kobe 28ppg lebron 29ppg not a big difference… BUT lebron averaging 7 rebounds AND 7 assists this season! while kobe is averaging 5 rebounds and 5 assists. Lebron is a better player period. he can score 50+ at MSG but also get a triple double in the process. half the reasons you have there… scratch that… ALL the reasons you have there are bull. Lebron has a better FG% so it doesnt matter if his jumpshot is perfect, he is averaging more points with a bigger success rate to his shot. this was a useless article and dont waist my time next time you put this on stumble.

The NBA has just been waiting for a player that fits there perfect nice guy guidelines. so kobe bryant was kind of a dick when he was younger. so what. telling people lebron james is better constantly on espn is a joke. lebron james is in the position kobe was in like 06, accept hes not putting up as good of numbers. Kobe IS better than Jordan. Jordan didn’t see the kinds of defenses that Kobe sees. There was no zone when Jordan played. There was no double teaming off the ball. Kobe faces that every night and still gets it in. If they tried to play man-to-man all night against Kobe, he’d kill every team every night. That’s just the truth. As far as LeBron, he is a good passer. He’s too passive though. In clutch moments, I’ve seen him give the ball up. It’s like he doesn’t want the blame if the shot doesn’t fall. Kobe wants the responsibility of winning/losing the game. He’s a cold-blooded killer and LeBron doesn’t have that in him. And every year he gets better. AI was up there; declining. Kobe is obviously better than lebron. Say all you want about him being young, anyone with a brain in their head knows that he will not be as successful as Kobe is and is continuing to be. how about his countless game winning shots? Kobe is an assassin, he doesn’t hesitate to make game winning/losing shots. He is the definition of clutch. Lebron James himself even stated that Kobe is the best player in the NBA. its obvious, saying Lebron James is better than Kobe Bryant is like saying The Cleveland Browns are better than the Saints.
This is ridiculous. What makes an elite NBA player? Look at the stats….Lebron has a better shooting percentage, points per game, assists, rebounds, blocks, three point percentage, etc. Go to http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/teams/stats?team=lal or lebrons page and look at their stats. Granted that Kobe has more championships but he has been in the leauge double what Lebron has and he has played with Shaq in his prime and Pau Gasol. LeBron has shit to work with and still kills the game. If you want to talk about clutch shots then you have to look at when he made them. Kobe has made eaisly the majority of his clutch shots in the past 7 years which is the amount that Lebron hasent. Kobe is a veteran and now LeBron is getting to be a veteran so he will eaisly make that many clutch shots in the next 7 years. You all are clowns get at me when you have some facts.

You guys better hope Lebron never wins a title because once he does the debate is not even a debate anymore, Lebron has surpassed Kobe in EVERY category.
of course Lebron has a better percentage in clutch situations. Kobe has hit 80 game winning shots. Lebron hasn’t even attempted 80 shots in clutch situations. The perfect way, in my eyes, to compare great players. Make them both the same size (height & weight), now which one is better? Obviously it is Kobe. Kobe Bryant is better than Lebron James hands down. Lebron is a great player, because of his size. He uses the same moves, and travels very often. It seems like players always just give up or get out of the way, but could you blame them, the guy is like 6’9 and weighs like 260 with great athletic ability. Who wants to get in front of that? Kobe doesnt have that size, but he has the deadliest mid range shot in NBA history, and he is a great 3 point shooter. Stats mean nothing, players dont respect Lebrons shot, they always give it to him. Not with Kobe, he always has a hand in his face and makes shots that just make your jaws drop, shots MJ wouldnt make. Kobe is an assasin and as a better competitive drive than Lebron. I could keep going but I hope what i just stated was enough to change some minds out there, im tired of typing.
3 fourths of this article is either false or just crap that’s made up… First of all you used turnaround jumper and fadeaway jumper which are basically the same thing. second of all what the hell is hunger? is he gonna eat a big mac after he yells at his teammates for losing a game? also what do you mean by greater career resume? After each of their first 6 seasons LeBron beats him in every stat except free throw percentage. Lastly, Kobe can thank Shaq for 3 of those rings. BOTTOM LINE: when they are both retired Lebron will have better stats, more championships, and more MVP awards.
