81 points in one game for a guard should be enough evidence alone that Kobe Bryant is the best player on the planet. Considering only one other person in NBA history has scored more in one game, that being Wilt Chamberlain with 100. I would be willing to bet that Wilt’s 100 came much easier to him than Kobe’s 81. Most of Kobe’s points came from the outside and free throw line. Two places where Wilt could not make shots. I don’t think I need to point out, but I will anyway, that the closer you get to the basket the easier it is to make a shot! Enough said.
As for Kobe’s 81, i’m not sure what’s most impressive. 81 points for the entire game or the 55 points he had in the second half alone! 55 points in one half of play! Are you kidding me? And we still have doubters as far as who’s the best player on the planet? Watch for yourself.
