Congratulations Kobe Bryant, 61 Points – New Madison Square Garden Record!
As the entire Lakers Nation has been blue regarding the Bynum news, Kobe came out on a mission and put on a historic show that the basketball mecca of the world has never seen before.
Shooting: 19 for 31 Field Goals, 20 for 20 Free Throws.
Kobe racked up 61 Points.
He broke the MSG record of Jordan’s 55 points and broke a Knicks record by Bernard King of 60. Unreal. He left the game to a stunned standing ovation from the Knicks crowd. I got one word: MVP. With Bynum out, Kobe looks forward to putting this team on his back and carrying us back to the NBA Finals. Tonight was a show for the ages….
