Ice Cube in this recent video interview settles the Kobe Bryant vs. Lebron James debate as to who really is the best basketball player on the planet. Most times it’s the fans who know the truth about the game. And many times the opinions of fans are different from what is being marketed by the shoe companies or by the NBA. Ice Cube not only has an opinion, but he backs it up with some real knowledge. First he completely destroys the whole rebounding statistical debate explaining how forwards are supposed to get more rebounds than guards. Ice Cube is right. Numbers do not tell the entire story. But one number does. 4! As in 4 NBA championships. That’s what Kobe Bryant has and Lebron James doesn’t. Combine that with Kobe Bryant still being at the top of his game and you have the truth. Kobe Bryant is still the best basketball player in the world. Period.
