Can you say Dynamic Duo 2.0? Or is that 3.0?
Kobe Bryant and Pau Gasol scored 30 or more points in each of the Lakers past two games before Thursday, the first pair of Lakers to accomplish the feat since Bryant and Shaquille O’Neal did it April 10 and 13, 2003.
But they aren’t the only ones to accomplish that feat.
Denver’s Carmelo Anthony and Allen Iverson had consecutive 30-point games together Dec. 20 and 21, 2007.
Let’s hope Kobe and Pau don’t end up like the Lakers’ first duo — squabbling about touches and points.
