Do you think Kobe Bryant is the best basketball player in the game today? Better than Lebron James? Better than Dwayne Wade? Better than any other superstar wannabe in the NBA? Many of us have been saying it for years. And it appears now that it wasn’t just Kobe Bryant fans that were proclaiming the black mamba as the greatest in the game. According to a survey performed by the Sporting News, Kobe Bryant is at the top of the list of the 50 best players in the world. Who voted this top 50? I do not know how good kobe really is because I think shaq and injuries, and rape trial all affected his career.

Without shaq I believe kobe would have had amazing numbers, and would be considered one of top 3 greats.

If Kobe comes this year and he is actually healthy, I do believe they will win the championship. However, if he is not 100%, then it will be really hard going against Miami if they meet in the finals.

Kobe this coming year needs to step it up believe it or not. He really needs to get healthy and show the haters and non believers that he is actually what they think he is.

To people who think he is the best ever, please please Stop disrespecting MJ. Just because he retired doesn’t mean you should forget about him. I am a huge Kobe Fan, however, I do not believe that he come any where close to MJ. Maybe at shooting, however and being dominant like MJ kobe has never shown that. Anyway every one is allowed to have their opinion and this is mine.

Kobe Bryant is absolutely THE best NBA player of all time, there is no denying it as he is the only player who has been compared to the apparently best player of all time, Michael Jordan. He has also better aiming than Jordan rather slam dunking the ball all of the time, which to me is probably better so that you get more three pointers and it is harder to get through a group of players!

KinG Kobe… mj is great hands down, but kobe has done 2 things jordan has never done. 81pts: to not be 7ft thats damn near impossible in the nba. jordan has never scored 65+points in a regulation game. he did have 69 i think against portland but that was over the course of a few overtimes. I would take Kobe. Lebron wants to win but Kobe has to win. I am referring to their mindsets when approaching any game. I think they both lose to Michael, but Kobe would make a game of it. Kobe has that iron will similar to MJ. I think that Lebron can get there, but not yet. This is Kobe’s era just as MJ had the 90′s. Lebron just seems so indifferent when he loses whereas Kobe is visibly bothered by it and while it may be obsessive, it’s that kind of obsession that seperates the good from the great. Can you imagine Jordan disapperaing in the forth quarter of a playoff game let alone the finals! All players have bad games, I know, but Lebron consistently disappeared in the 4th of every game of the finals. He can’t close when the pressure is at it’s peak. Not yet anyways, so for the here and now, Kobe’s got it.
