A bad loss by the Los Angeles Lakers this evening 108-95 to the Charlotte Bobcats. The Lakers looked tired and non-enthusiastic as they lose to a below .500 squad who is really not that good of a team. Kobe Bryant had 27 points and 6 boards before being ejected due to his second technical foul of the game with 3:40 remaining. Kobe got upset about many of the calls that were not going his way. It became apparent that the Refs were missing many obvious calls which of course is going to set off any player in the NBA. Tonight the calls just couldn’t seem to go Kobe’s way.
The loss put’s Kobe’s Lakers at 49-23 putting them in a three way tie for second place in the Western Conference playoff race with Houston and San Antonio. They trail the New Orleans Hornets by one game. Tonight was not one of Kobe Bryant’s best performances. We look forward to him bouncing back in the next Lakers game. I’m sure he will.
