Kobe Goes For 31 In Win vs. Jazz
The last time these two teams played was in Salt Lake City, Utah. The Jazz who played that game without Carlos Boozer and Mehmet Okur flat out dominated the Lakers and won the game by 24 points. Kobe Bryant said that the team had been “out muscled” in the loss and was obviously very upset about it. You had a feeling that he would be extra motivated in a rematch against the Utah Jazz to redeem the team from it’s embarrassing loss the last time. The Lakers did just that. Redeem themselves. A 123-109 victory over the Jazz gave the Lakers their 19th win of the season. The score however does not really represent how dominate they were in the first half. They had 75 points (Phoenix like) in the first half alone. Kobe had hit 5 three pointers before the half ended.
Check out these numbers for Kobe. 31 points, 4 Rebounds, 7 Assists, and 4 Steals! Those are some impressive numbers against a very good Utah Jazz squad. The Lakers get ready to host the best team in the NBA the Boston Celtics on Sunday night. Hopefully they can play like they did tonight against the Jazz.
