Kobe Bryant, who is actually more popular than Sun or Yao in China, has his first endorsement with a Chinese company: SINA Corporation, a leading online media and information-service provider that is launching Bryant’s official Chinese Web site.
Bryant’s popularity in China was clarified by the madness that followed him in Beijing during the Olympics. This is SINA’s first venture with an American athlete.
Bryant already has an official U.S. Web site, where you can find out in advance what color combination of sneaker Bryant is wearing each game. You can also see there what Bryant’s stats are since introducing the sneakers, and I just knew the Nike folks were going to make sure to draw a clear parallel between Bryant’s new sneakers and his torrid shooting!
