INDIANAPOLIS — So I told Phil Jackson what Kobe Bryant said about him sort of making up some stuff he doesn’t even really believe when talking to reporters about Bryant.

“It’s very true,” Jackson said.

Well, there you go.

Jackson copped to throwing stuff out there with the intent of it getting back to Bryant through the media. So I’m not sure it’s that he’s making it up to mess with us — he’s more using us to mess with Bryant.

“It’s to prick him a little bit, just … give him a little bit of a goose as to, ‘Don’t do this, try not to do this,’ ” Jackson said.
