Talk about a game of runs! First it was all Warriors — then all Lakers, then the Warriors came back, then the Lakers opened it up — and a few more of those and a Laker victory. Good thing the game wasn’t 55 minutes long!
In the expected high scoring game, the Lakers finished with 114 points on 45% shooting.
The difference in the game tonight game on the boards where the Lakers grabbed 51 vs. 43 and the stripe where the Lake Show hit 27 of 29, 16 more than the 11 of 17 Warriors.
The Lakers had a balanced attack with several weapons tonight! Biedrins had quite the statline tonight — 12 points, 17 boards, 8 assists, 3 steals and 3 blocks. Pretty nice for a big man.
Now, the bests of the night…
Top 3 Laker Performers -
1) Pau destroyed the Warriors inside! 33 points and 18 rebounds. Haven’t seen that since Shaq!
2) Bynum also picked on the little Warriors with 18 points and 11 boards.
3) Kobe’s 21, 5, and 5 were the perfect compliment to Pau’s 33.
Lakers Smush of the Day (Note: STD denotes the Laker that played the poorest): Vlad Rad again. Scoreless. Useless.
Play of the Game: Kobe’s dunk or Pau’s back to back dunks?
What to Look for Next Game: Another high scoring game and another Laker win as the Lakers look to get revenge on the Pacers.
