What Does Lebron James Need To Do To Be The Games Best?

Lebron James has had himself a career year this season. It’s been an great individual season, with his team lacking the substance to become a contender this year in the East. Lebron deserves praise for his effort and fantastic statistics that he has had. He continues to show improvement in his game every single season. Because of that I am forced to ask myself, What does Lebron James need to do to be the best player on the planet? Here are a few things that may help create the conversation. Which ones do you think will be important in deciding whether or not Lebron is the games best?
- Win a Championship (or two)
- Score more points
- Have Kobe Bryant retire
- Score 80 or more points in one game
- Develop a more consistent outside shot
- Have more clutch performances at the end of important games
- Just more years of experience
- Play better defensive consistently
Do you think that some of the above things will lift him over the top and become the games best? Do you think that all of them will be required? Sound off and give me your opinion. Is he already destined to become the games best player? I believe with the exception of the 80 point or more game, he needs to do all of these things to become the best player on the planet. Particularly winning a championship. That is going to be a huge key for him. To do that he is going to have to develop a strong outside shot, as well as become more committed to become not only a good defender, but a dominant one.
Lebron James has the talent and the youth to eventually become the best player on the planet. But as professional sports teach us, to be the greatest you have to be a winner. A winner of championships. Wilt Chamberlain was a great player with great statistics, but he only won 2 championships. Bill Russel has been and always will be regarded the greater player because of his 11 rings. Will Lebron James win multiple championships? That will be his test. Kobe Bryant knows that’s what it will take to be considered one of the greatest. That’s why he could care less about the MVP award. It’s all about rings!!!
